Defence in Brampton.

Peel Region's central court hub. Criminal summary matters from Peel Regional Police, OPP, and Brampton bylaw are heard at the Davis Courthouse on Hurontario; HTA tickets and provincial offences are routed to the Ray Lawson POA building. One of the busiest court complexes in Ontario.

Brampton is one of the busiest court jurisdictions in Ontario. The A. Grenville and William Davis Courthouse on Hurontario Street handles criminal summary matters for all of Peel Region, while the Ray Lawson Provincial Offences court processes Highway Traffic Act tickets from Peel Regional Police, OPP, and Brampton bylaw enforcement. Highway 410, Highway 407, Highway 50, and Hurontario Street are among the corridors where speed enforcement and HTA charges are most common.

Peel Region has some of the highest stunt driving charge rates in the province. The 410, the 407 extension, and Highway 50 through Brampton and Caledon see regular OPP enforcement at speeds that trigger automatic 30-day licence suspensions and 14-day vehicle impounds at the roadside. If you've been charged with stunt driving in Brampton, the suspension is already in effect — but the longer-term consequences on your licence and insurance are what we defend against in court.

Point Duty appears at both Brampton court locations weekly. Whether your matter is a speeding ticket out of Peel Regional Police, a stunt driving charge from the OPP, or a summary criminal charge from an incident in Brampton, Mississauga, or Caledon, we'll review the disclosure and give you a realistic assessment of the defence on the first call — at no charge and with no obligation.
